Rustic Outdoor Wedding
Today I am sharing the lovely wedding of Ken and Aletheia. Their wedding day was one of those crazy weather days with all kinds of weather including drizzle, sunshine, downpours and rainbows. This didn’t stop the bride and groom from having the biggest smiles on their faces throughout the entire day. And it also didn’t stop their photographer from capturing one beautiful shot after another. Don’t you just love Aletheia’s gorgeous gowns and beautiful feather tattoo?
Thanks so much to Heather of Espana Photography for letting me share this wonderful wedding. You can click here to see more images.

Mid Week Etsy find - Wedding and Bridesmaids Dresses by Dahl NYC
Alison Dahl of Dahl NYC has been designing clothing since 2002 and currently lives in Brooklyn, New York. She began in Los Angeles after college, selling mini-collections to boutiques on consignment. She opened her Etsy shop in 2008 to sell some of her signature pieces, but has just recently become more active offering made-to-order party dresses, bridesmaids dresses, and wedding gowns. After a year of studying Fine Arts in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico, she moved to Florence, Italy to intensively study fashion at Lorenzo de Medici Scuola de Arte. It was then she realised that she wanted to completely immerse herself in the field. She has since been involved in all sorts of exciting projects from taking part in the TV series Project Runway to designing sewing patterns and writing a sewing book. You can explore Alison’s beautiful collection on her website or in her Etsy shop.

Mexico Themed DIY Wedding
Mike is from Mexico and Lacy decided to embrace this into their wedding theme. This lovely and charming wedding was entirely personalised by the couple and their friends and family. Wooden signs, burlap table runners, cupcakes, paper pinwheels, name tags, even the dance floor, were all hand made. The beautiful bright Mexico inspired flowers came from a hispanic family-run business which operates from the family's garage. All of the flowers were chosen by Lacy and then turned into beautiful table arrangements, boutonnieres and bouquets by Lacy's cousin. In keeping with their Mexico theme, the couple served Mexican food and Sangria and gave each of their guests a set of maracas as favours. They even had mules!
I love everything about this wedding from the Mexico theme to all the lovely personal touches. Lacy and Mike's delightful day was captured by the wonderful Delbarr of Delbarr Moradi Photography. Delbarr is one of those charming and wonderful people that you instantly warm to. Her passion for what she does and the couples she photographs shines through in her warm and bright photography.
Delbarr, thank you so much for sharing this beautiful day and your amazing work with me. If you have not already come across Delbarr's photography be sure to check out her lovely site and blog for a whole load of bright heartwarming inspiration.
